Ruby Drop Earrings II
Six deep raspberry red faceted rubies are fabulous in these petite earrings. The rubies measure about 1/4 inch (.8 cm) in diameter. The rubies may have been heat-treated to get this luxurious color. They're set off by vermeil beads (vermeil is a thick gold layer over sterling silver). The earrings drop just over an inch from the bottom of gold-filled French hooks.
